Intro Statement

Life can sometimes feel like navigating a maze with unexpected twists and turns. As a therapist, my mission is to walk beside you through this maze, helping you find clarity, peace, and direction. I strive to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and valued, providing the trust, compassion, and validation you need. In our therapeutic partnership, we will delve into your unique story, understanding the emotional, mental, and physical aspects, as well as the family, social, cultural, and spiritual dimensions of your experience. With a blend of evidence-based techniques, I will help you tap into your strengths and develop new resources to achieve the changes you desire. I approach therapy with cultural humility, ensuring that our strategies and interventions are tailored to your needs.

Education

I am a licensed LMSW on the path to obtaining my LCSW. Additionally, I am a certified trauma professional with specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I proudly earned my Master of Social Work degree from Troy University, equipping me with the knowledge and skills to support individuals in their journey toward healing and growth.

Experience

Over the years, I've worked with diverse populations, including adults, military personnel, youth, families, and groups. My practice is centered around helping adults and teens navigate the challenges of grief, trauma, anxiety, and life transitions. I believe in a compassionate, informal approach to therapy, adapting to each person's unique needs.
